I have always continued my education by taking as many classes through the UA Trade school as well as taking classes at community colleges and the Natiional Labor College prior to its closing in the early 2000s. I have and continue to be an avid participant in monthly union meetings as well as Union elections where I was elected to represent as a delegate in 2016 and 2021.

In 2016 I became a foreman as a fifth year on one of the largest industrial jobs in the United States,Cove Point LNG plant. I am a true believer that we have endless opportunities and endless education. Thanks to the Apprentice school and journeyman training, I was able to obtain things from medical gas, weld certs, tube bending to name a few.

I was the first female in 602 history to be elected as an officer. I served on the Examining Board for 3 years. Just recently I served as the Recording Secretary. I am an instructor at the Maryland Apprentice School. I have been an instructor since 2021. I am one of the founders on our non profit group the Ladies of the DMV and also a member of the 602 mentorship committee.

I am a natural born leader and will help and motivate anyone that needs that push or just some guidance.I am currently working on running for Business Agent for the next election and studying for my Masters HVAC license.

I am a proud union member who is deeply grateful for the opportunities my union has provided me, both professionally and personally. I graduated from the local 602 apprenticeship program in 2023, a milestone that represents years of hard work, commitment, and growth within the trade. I currently work in the office as an Assistant Project Manager, where I am able to combine my field experience with organization, communication, and a strong attention to detail to support successful projects.

I value hard work, accountability, and teamwork, and I strongly believe in the union’s role in creating stable careers, leadership opportunities, and a supportive community for its members. I take pride in showing up prepared, staying engaged, and continuously learning in order to grow both professionally and personally.

Outside of work, I am most proud of my role as a mother and the life I am building with my family. Balancing career advancement with motherhood has strengthened my time-management skills, resilience, and ability to lead with empathy. I enjoy traveling, trying new foods, staying active, spending time outdoors near the Chesapeake Bay, and finding a healthy balance between working hard and enjoying life.

I am passionate about supporting other women in the union, sharing knowledge, and helping create an environment where women feel encouraged, respected, and empowered to succeed.

I entered the pipefitting trade in 2014 and am a skilled welder with a strong background in the semiconductor industry. I spent six years working at Micron, traveling to New Mexico and Idaho, where I gained hands-on experience in semiconductor facilities. I have since ventured into the data center industry, where I am continuing to expand my knowledge and experience in electrical systems and service HVAC.

I currently serve as a union officer for UA Local 602 and sit on the examining board, helping uphold industry standards and support the development of skilled tradespeople.

As a wife and mother of three, I am passionate about encouraging women not to overlook careers in construction. I am committed to making this program successful and to helping create opportunities that better the lives of other women entering the trades.
